This 2017 edition of the Mobile World Congress is officially over! An event full of useful learning and experiences where innovation and experience were the keywords!

The show, one of the key exhibition in the mobile industry in the world, was held from 27th of February to 2nd of March. In Barcelona, reuniting 2300 worldwide companies.

From virtual reality to privacy protection, attendees have experienced the most cutting-edge mobile technology.

New Product Launches

Indeed, many giant companies have launched their latest products such as Sony, who have announced the upcoming Xperia Touch and its Pico projector, turning any area onto tactile one. Nostalgics will be happy too! Nokia has presented its glorious 3310 phone 17 years after the first edition! The long-awaited phone has, however, a new design with a coloured screen! Chatbots and IoT?s were also highlighted this year!

Female Leadership

Female leadership, with the Women4Tech program, have been spotlighted in order to reduce the gender gap in the mobile industry. In the same way, the Youth Mobile Festival welcomed thousands of high school teenager from all over Spain. The goal was to acquaint them with the mobile ecosystem.

Keynotes and Conferences

Many conferences and keynotes were held by over 300 innovative speakers and influential executives, sharing their visions of the mobile industry.

Covering many topics that shape the mobile market, from advertising to automotive, providing essential insights on current and future trends. Also highlighting the latest technological breakthrough and growth strategies.
The Mobile World Congress cooperated with many visionaries as the mobile industry becomes more dynamic and characterized by growth and opportunities.

Among the speakers, we notice the major contribution of the Netflix CEO and Founder Reed Hastings, Stéphane Richard, president and CEO of Orange, and Arnaud de PuyFontaine, Vivendi?s CEO.
