The summer sale is just around the corner! To maximize online sales during the sale period, you need to prepare now.
Here are our tips for a successful operation.

Update your affiliate assets

Product Catalogues

Catalogues are used by retargeters, comparison sites, buying guides, etc. This

means you need to keep yours updated to stay visible and relevant.


IF YOU RUN PROMOTIONS

complete the “original price” column so publishers can display these

prices with a line through them, plus the “promo” column you set.If you’re not running a promotion, it’s best to display the same

CURRENT price and crossed-out price. Put the CURRENT price and

crossed-out price in the feed without the currency symbol.

Tell your Account Manager when you’re updating your catalogue so they

can carry out the necessary checks.

 

BELOW IS A REMINDER OF THE INDICATORS YOU NEED TO PROVIDE IN THE APPROPRIATE COLUMN:

0 = no information
1 = promotion applies
2 = no promotion applies
3 = on sale

“UPDATES SHOULD BE MADE BEFORE 11:30PM (GMT+1) ON THE DAY BEFORE TO BE INCLUDED ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE SALE.”

Banners

It’s a key part of your affiliate program and shouldn’t be overlooked!

BANNERS DELIVERY:
If your Account Manager is scheduling your banners, send them over as early as possible.

IMPORTANT
Don’t create new locations for your sale banners. Instead, plan to replace the current ones: banners will be then automatically updated for publishers.

Vouchers

Don’t forget to schedule a date for your vouchers to end. There are vouchers provided to publishers in the XML and RSS feeds.Example of vouchers: free delivery, extra discount for average spend/numbers of items in basket, etc.

VoucherTAG© enables you to assign (a) specific voucher code(s) to a single publishermeaning all sales generated using the code will be assigned to that publisher. This way, you can more easily track and analyse the individual performance of publishers, whether they’re influencers or code aggregators, and reward top performers.
