Kwanko renews its Gold Medal for its carbon footprint

We are delighted to share with you that Kwanko has once again been honoured with the Gold Medal for excellence in managing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This recognition is a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our determination to reduce our environmental impact.

Recognition of our commitment

Since our last GHG audit conducted with Greenly, we have maintained our position among the leading companies in climate strategy, joining the select group of the top 5% of companies worldwide.

We are particularly proud to have reduced our overall greenhouse gas emissions from 6.7 kilotonnes in 2023 to 4.4 kilotonnes in 2024. This concrete result demonstrates the effectiveness of our action plan and the commitment of our teams on a daily basis. 

What is a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions report?

A GHG assessment evaluates and reports the quantities of greenhouse gases emitted directly and indirectly by an organisation. This process includes analysing the emissions from our internal activities as well as those of our suppliers and customers.

Our Enhanced Approach

To maintain our leadership in sustainability, we have strengthened our actions:

•     Continuous improvement: We have integrated best practices to optimise our carbon footprint.
•     Awareness and training: We have launched an awareness programme for our teams to reduce their carbon footprint on a daily basis.
•     Extended collaboration: We have expanded our supplier charter to include strict social responsibility requirements.
